Newlands, Cape Town

 A single-family modern villa located in the leafy suburbs of Southern Cape Town. The design sought to balance the traditional and the classical through the building’s form and the intentional use of materials, textures, patterns, and detailing. The building pushes and pulls forms to create connections to the outdoors, balancing views with privacy, all while maximizing natural daylighting. Integrated features such as balconies, terraces, walkways and the roof garden create a place for the family to unwind from the business of daily life.
